That definately has something to do with it.I always find myself forgetting I can go get more health and armor. I destroyed them because they're used to a slower paced game (as far as frag/death ratio goes). Yet I made the server and got rid of all that. I've played games against very good players who are used to health/armor. Now going up against people who are used to "shoot, shoot, run for health/armor" while your not doing the exact same thing is going to make the game harder.Same in reverse. We've played for years without extra ammo, health or armor. We like fast tight games where you spawn and either kill or die. The descrepancy was huge.Well I guess the lesson is to learn how to dodge, dodge jump, dodge wall jump and the adrenaline combos. I didn't mention it earlier, but outside of this one individual, everyone else was dying 8 or more times. I was just surprised that there are individuals that own like that. We Never seem to move on to newer games- View image here: -Coincidentally, two of the individuals are also Arsians (Covenant, who is the fps king among us, and Stargazer21, who is on my level).DaMantis:Well I know 3 times doesn't seem that much, but I played in perhaps 15 - 20 games through out the day. Just about nine years i've been deathmatching, starting with Doom2 and pretty much ending with Quake3. I've been having lan parties with the same people since Summer 1995. You have to realize that UT2004 is really just an extension of UT2003 (look at all of the identical maps, player models, weapons, etc) and those that were really good at UT2003 have a narrow learning curve.I've been FPS-ing from the early days (shut up you young-ins) and still get my ass pwnd. No way around that. That said, there are some tremendously godlike scary FPS players out there. Quote:Originally posted by blasikov:Cheating is a reality on online games.
